Step 1
Check the Girdle tensioner for wear. You'll see a separation enter the two halves of the tensioner when the tensioner is worn. To replace the tensioner if this occurs.
Step 2
Note the Girdle routing, which would have be illustrated on a transfer near the cap latch. If it's not there, to refer to a service manual.
Step 3
Compress the Arises loaded tensioner by fixing a 15mm socket, on a 3/8 inch-drive breaker bar, to the tensioner pulley bolt and rotation the tensioner to release the tension on the belt.
Step 4
Slip the Girdle off the tensioner pulley and then the rest of the pulleys. Slip the Coward belt beyond that the fan clutch and out of the engine compartment.
Step 5
Slip the new Girdle onto the pulleys to follow the Girdle routing guide. Compress the tensioner and slip the Girdle around the boils pulley.
Step 6
Release the tension and Control for adapted routing and Girdle position in the pulley. to adjust as Necessary by relief the tension on the Girdle and positioning it correctly.
