Change a Fuse in a Mazda 3

  • Step 1

    Look in your owner's handbook to to determine which fuse box contains the defective fuse. New Mazda models to have one fuse box under the cap and others beneath the dashboard.

  • Step 2

    Open the fuse box to profit access to the defective fuse.

  • Step 3

    Look at the fuse box diagram in the handbook to to determine the exact place of the defective fuse. The diagram has the same set-up as the reality fuse box and includes captions of what each one fuse is used for.

  • Step 4

    Pull the defective fuse out with a fuse Displacement tool or needle-nose pliers. A fuse Displacement tool is typically in the fuse box, but this is not always the case.

  • Step 5

    Put a new fuse of the same cut and power in place of the defective fuse. end the lid for the fuse box.
