Step 1
Put your Ford Hearth in "Park" and elevator up your Urgency brake. The car engine would have be off.
Step 2
Insert the jack under the car under the elevator area, which is the driver's front Coil area. You would have feel a "lip" of reinforced metal for you to place your jack. Jack the car up by rotation the crank in a in the direction of the needles of a watch direction.
Step 3
Loosen the lug nuts use your tire iron.
Step 4
Remove the tire and lay it downwards under the car to cut a fall in case the jack falls the car.
Step 5
Take off the top bolt on the caliper. The gauge should movement away of the rotor. catch off the brake pads.
Step 6
Clamp a C-clamp on the caliper. One side would have lay on the back of the gauge and the other end push against the brake piston.
Step 7
Install the new brake Trimmings on the gauge until it look at secure. The brake Trimmings are fact so that you can't to install them incorrectly. movement the gauge across the rotor to to tighten it.
Step 8
Place the top bolt back on and to tighten it.
Step 9
Replace the Coil and Coil nuts.
Step 10
Lower your Ford Hearth back to the ground. You are now loan to beginning driving it.
