Step 1
Loosen the tensioner pulley nut, located on the front of the engine, with a 14mm wrench. Turn the 12mm tensioner bolt above the pulley to To loosen itself the tension on the belt. Do not to remove the tensioner nut, or the bolt, completely.
Step 2
Draw a diagram on paper of the adapted belt routing. If the Girdle is being replaced because it has broken, to refer to a service handbook for the adapted routing guide. This guide may too be found on a transfer under the hood. Slip the old Girdle off the pulleys and out of the engine compartment.
Step 3
Feed the replacement Girdle into the engine compartment and slip it on the pulleys one at a time until it is in position on all the pulleys. Control the Advance guide to be sour the Girdle is installed properly. to tighten the tensioner bolt until it is very snug. to tighten the pulley nut. beginning the engine and Control the Girdle position on the pulleys. to adjust as Necessary by to loosen itself the tensioner and replacement the belt, closing off the engine Front doing so.
