Find the Check Engine Code on a 2001 Kia Rio

  • Step 1

    Locate the opened OBD port to the left of the fuse panel in the driver's side foot well of the Kia Rio.

  • Step 2

    Plug the OBD catch into the opened port.

  • Step 3

    Turn the lighting key to the "II" position.

  • Step 4

    Wait for the "Check Engine" codes to be sought by the OBD sweeping tool.
