Remove Replace an Ignition Switch for a 2000 Astro Van

  • Step 1

    Locate the lighting switch. The lighting switch is placé 18 to 24 inches of the floor on the top side of the direction column.

  • Step 2

    Remove the lighting switch. The lighting switch is held on by two small bolts. Use the rachet to to remove them.

  • Step 3

    Install the new switch. Set the switch where the old switch was and to attach the old bolts with the ratchet.
