Replace the Oxygen Sensor on a 1987 Chevrolet 350

  • Step 1

    Open the cap and To place the oxygen sensor. It's on the driver's side exhaust manifold, towards where the pipe connects to the exhaust. To disconnect the oxygen probe from the wiring use your hands.

  • Step 2

    Remove the oxygen probe from the pipe using the oxygen probe socket and the 3/8-inch ratchet.

  • Step 3

    Apply the anti-seize composed to the wire on the replacement oxygen sensor, manufacture sure not to contact the probe itself. Then hand Wire the replacement probe into the exhaust manifold.

  • Step 4

    Tighten the oxygen probe into the pipe using the oxygen probe socket and the 3/8-inch ratchet. Then catch the replacement probe into the actions harness.
