Step 1

Remove the two small bolts fixing the power control position probe to the power control body, use the appropriate-size socket. elevator the probe away of the power control body.

Look at the tab on the power control body where the probe gets positioned. opened the power control slightly with one hand, and show the way the tab turns. to look at at the tab on the back of the sensor. With a finger, pushed the little tab to see which way it rotates. When the probe is installed, the tab on the probe must go above the tab on the power control body so that when the power control is opened, the tab on the power control body movements the tab on the sensor. If the probe is installed with the sensor's tab under the tab on the power control body, the probe tab not be moved when the power control body tab moves. to install the power control position sensor, payment particular caution to the tabs.

Install the two bolts in the power control position sensor, but leave they loose so that the power control position probe can be adjusted. To connect the élém. élect. connector.
Step 5
Connect the voltmeter, with the red wire connected to the left wire on the two-wire élém. élect. connector. To connect the black wire to any good ground. Turn the lighting switch on, but subsistence the engine off. to observe the voltmeter. to turn the probe until it product a reading of .5 volts on the voltmeter. to tighten the two bolts with the ¼-inch Casing to catch it in place.
