Step 1
Put on a pairs of rubber or latex gloves to to prevent ink spots on your fingers. Sleep a working area with brown paper or a similar guard covering.
Step 2
Locate the ink-fill holes on the HP printer cartridge. those are small holes no larger than the tip of a pencil. Usually, they are on the back of the cartridge on one of the smaller sides. each one one is connected with a rubber gasket. Pry out the gasket with a small needle.
Step 3
Fill the cartridge with ink of a syringe. insertion the switches into the holes and to inject the ink very slowly, as the ink require time to soak in the sponge inside the cartridge. For black cartridges, initially inflate the bladder in the cartridge with air of the syringe, then insertion the ink.
Take note that there are three holes on color cartridges, each one for a different color of ink. The correct color ink need go in the adapted hole. For instance, on the HP970CXI, the holes of left to right-hand side are for the yellow, magenta and cyan inks. There only be one hole on the black cartridge.
Step 4
Wipe far the excess ink and set the cartridge back in the printer to to start printing.
