Replace a Laptop Screen With a 770Z Screen

  • Step 1

    Power off your laptop front proceeding.     Remove the bezel. beginning at one edge and Traction up on the bezel. You notice small plastic latches--the mounting and the rest of the display. Use a guitar selection or a similar non-metal object to wedge enter the bolts and the mounting to Disengagement and to remove the bezel.

    Find the reverser cable located at the bottom center of the screen. It races into and is connected to the reverser board just under it. flick this connector in an Right position to “unlock” it, then Traction out the reverser cable.

    Remove the screw holding the metal brackets on one or the other side of the display. There be two screw in each one bracket. With the screw off, to remove the metal brackets.

  • Step 6

    Pull back the LCD screen of the back wrap to to indicate the LCD cable that races from the display’s back. to remove the thin, stick bandage adhesive that lies at the base of this cable to free it up. Traction the screen out entirely.

  • Step 7

    Insert the 770Z replacement screen. Use the adhesive to To replug the LCD cable.

  • Step 8

    Replace the metal brackets and screw on each one side of the screen. catch the reverser cable back in and lock the connector in its horizontal, Dish position.

  • Step 9

    Replace the bezel, rupture it back in the plastic latches. insertion all the mounting screws and cover they with the plastic caps, if necessary.
