Step 1 Turn the laptop Above so the bottom is coating up and the hinges are coating towards you. Step 2 Remove the battery located in the bottom right-hand side corner by pushed the bolt above the battery to the right, and then Traction the battery downwards to to remove it. Step 3 Trace the right-hand side side of the laptop up of the battery to lucky find the contour of the optics drive. to follow from the center of the optics drive in towards the center of the laptop to lucky find a simple screw possession in the optics drive. to remove the screw. use a Dish head screwdriver, pushed the notch where the screw was to the right. This cause the optics drive to stick out of the side enough for you to handle it and Traction it of the laptop to to remove it. Step 4 Remove the hard order from the laptop. In the top left corner, there are two screw in sunken in holes. to remove these screw using the Philips screwdriver, and then Traction the plastic piece to the left of the screw on the left side of the laptop. The plastic piece is connected to the hard drive. Traction the hard order to the left to to remove it of the laptop. Step 5 Remove the plastic cover in the center of the laptop. You can see the contour for a simple plastic cover on the bottom of the laptop. to remove the eight screw that go around the edges of the cover use the Philips screwdriver, and then elevator the cover up to to remove it. Step 6 Disconnect the black and white cables on the mini-pci Chart located at the top of the slit you just uncovered. elevator up on the However connectors to disconnection the wires, and then elevator the right-hand side side of the Chart (the side where you just disconnected the cables) slightly and Traction the Chart to the right-hand side to to remove it of the laptop. Step 7 Remove the memory modules. The memory modules are located below where the mini-pci Chart was on the right-hand side side. pushed the metal fasten at the top and bottom of each one memory modulate away of each other, to cause the memory modulate to pop up at an angle. Traction the memory modulate away of the laptop. repetition this stage if there are two memory modules installed. Step 8 Remove the thermics cooling assembly, located to the left of the memory modules, of the laptop. There are five screw with numbers engraved with the etching into the metal afterwards to the screws. to remove the screw using the Philips screwdriver, in numerical order, and then elevator the thermics cooling assembly out of the laptop. Step 9 Remove the processor that is under the thermics cooling assembly. Use a Dish head screwdriver to turn the screw located above the place processor. Turn the screw counterclockwise until it not to be able turn anymore, and then elevator up the processor to to remove it of the laptop. Step 10 Remove all of the screw from the bottom of the laptop use the Philips screwdriver. There are four along the top edge, three more along the left edge, five more along the bottom, and one just above the superior right corner of where the processor is located. Step 11 Turn the laptop Above and opened it as with far as it go. Step 12 Remove the Exchange control cover. The Exchange control cover is the plastic piece above the keyboard that has the power button on it. insertion a Dish head screwdriver on the right-hand side side of the Exchange control cover enter the cover and the laptop. Pry the right-hand side side up gently, and then Traction the cover of right to left. disconnection the cover of the mother chart by Traction down on the connector on the cable to connect itself the cover to the motherboard, and then lifting the cover far from the laptop. Step 13 Remove the keyboard of the laptop. To unscrew the two screw located above the "F5" key and the "Scroll" key use the Philips screwdriver. elevator the keyboard up slightly, and then disconnection the cable to connect itself the keyboard to the motherboard. elevator the bolt on the mother chart side, connector up, and then down, and elevator the cable up out of the connector. Once the keyboard is disconnected, to remove it of the laptop. Step 14 Disconnect the posting and camera cables of the laptop. The camera cable is located in the center of the laptop. disconnection the cable by pushed the two sides of the mother chart side connector up, and then slip the ribbon cable out of the connector. elimination the keyboard left an opened space on the leftside of the computer, towards the top. The posting cable is located in the bottom right-hand side corner of this space. Traction up on the tab to disconnection the cable. Step 15 Remove the posting from the laptop. To unscrew the four screw on the hinges of the posting (two on each one hinge) use the Philips screwdriver. elevator the posting up and far from the laptop, manufacture sure to Traction the black and white cable through of the bottom of the computer. Step 16 Remove the palm rest of the laptop. to remove the two screw located at the center of the laptop, and then disconnection the Contact pad cable by Traction it downwards and out of the connector. The Contact pad cable is just above the Contact pad. too disconnect the statute lights cable located in the space directly to the left of the touchpad connector. Carefully separated the palm rest of the laptop, operation your fingers enter the palm rest and the bottom piece of the laptop. Step 17 Remove the ExpressCard cage, located in the bottom right-hand side corner of the laptop. to remove the three screw holding the ExpressCard camp using the Philips screwdriver, and then elevator it far from the laptop. Step 18 Disconnect the cables of the motherboard. There is one cable in the superior left corner of the motherboard. Traction it to the right-hand side to disconnection it. There are two others along the top edge of the mother chart near the center of the laptop. Traction these cables up to disconnection them. Step 19 Unscew the mother chart using the Philips screwdriver and elevator it out of the laptop. There are four screws: one in the superior left corner, one in the superior right corner, one that is harshly two inches below the one in the superior right corner, and one about two inches above the bottom right-hand side corner of the motherboard. Step 20 Place the new mother chart into the laptop and screw it in use the Philips screwdriver. To replug the three cables of Step 18, then Opposite steps 1 through 17 to To gather the computer.
