Step 1
Back up the data on your old hard drive. If you don't to want to to reinstall your operation system and programs, use a hard order cloning program to clone your old hard order to an external hard drive. Once the new order is installed, you can restoration your operation system and programs of the external drive.
Step 2
Place an electrostatics discharge (ESD) belt on your wrist. to connect the other end of the ESD belt to something metal. This reduce the probability of statics electricity to damage your A105.
Step 3
Place the laptop face downwards on a count or desk. to avoid working on carpet, as it can cause statics electricity.
Step 4
Remove the battery of your A105. The battery is located along the behind of your laptop. Slide the locking switch, found just to the right-hand side of the battery, to the freed position and Traction the battery out of the laptop. to make sure you to have also disconnected the power cable and any peripherals attache to your laptop.
Step 5
Remove the hard order cover. The hard order on the A105 is located in the front-left corner of the laptop. There is a simple screw possession the cover in place. Use a Philips screwdriver to to remove the screw and elevator the cover off of the hard drive.
Step 6
Slide the hard order to the left to disconnection the hard order from the mother board. elevator it up and to remove it of the hard order bay.
Step 7
Remove the rubber cover entourage the old hard order and set it aside. to lay out of your old hard order or place it in an electrostatic-free bag for safekeeping.
Step 8
Place the rubber cover on your new hard order and slide the new hard order into the hard order bay. Gently slide it to the right-hand side until it clicks in place on the mother board.
Step 9
Replace the hard order cover and battery on your A105. To replug your power cable and boot up your computer.
Step 10
Restore your data use your external hard order and cloning program or to reinstall your operation system and programs use your installation discs.
