Step 1
Check the cable connection of the Canon Pixma MP800 printer. to make sure the USB data cable is inserted in both the printer and the USB port on your computer.
Step 2
Power downwards the Canon Pixma MP800 and then a few moments turn it back on. If the printer is on when you initially power on the computer, the system may not to detect the printer.
Step 3
Replace the ink cartridges if the ink is to appear smudged or striped or the color is light.
Step 4
Look to to make sure the memory Chart is correctly inserted in the Canon Pixma MP800 if you are impression directly of a camera's memory card. If the Chart is not inserted completely the printer is not able to to detect the Chart and doesn't read the images on the card.
Step 5
Disconnect the USB cable inserted in the computer and catch it in a different USB port on the system. Sometimes USB ports die out or do not function with the Canon Pixma printer. change the USB connection often correct this problem.
