Step 1
Download and to install the Blade software (see Resources).
Step 2
Open a Limit window (Linux/Mac) or a order prompt Fenestrate (Windows).
Step 3
Type the order "cd <directory>" to to direct to the directory where your WAV file is held. to replace "<directory>" with the correct directory name.
Step 4
Type the order "lame <input>.wav <output>.mp3" to convert the WAV file to an MP3 file. to replace "<input>" and "<output>" with the name of your audio file.
Step 5
Type "Exit" to end the Limit window or order prompt window.

Download and to install the Temerity software (see Resources).

Download and to install the Blade MP3 library for Temerity (see Resources).

Open the Temerity software.
Step 4
Choose the "Open" option under the "File" menu to opened the WAV file.
Step 5
Choose the "Export as MP3" option under the "File" menu.
Step 6
Choose the "Save" option under the "File" menu to convert the file.

Download and to install the WAV2MP3 software (see Resources).

Open the WAV2MP3 software.
Step 3
Click the "Browse" button at the bottom of the page.
Step 4
Open the WAV file that you to want to convert.
Step 5
Click the "Encode" button to convert the file.
