Creating the Menu in Photoshop

  • Step 1

    Open Adobe Photoshop and to create a new project with dimensions of 720 x 480 pixels. (This is standard cut for a DVD.)

  • Step 2

    Create a new Sleep and to make your melts image. to depend upon your project, this could be a full color or simple gradient, a simple photo or a photograph montage. Click "Layer" --> "New" --> "Layer" to insertion a new layer. to create a full or gradient melts using the "Fill" tool, or add photographs using a copy-and-paste method.

    Create a new Sleep and add text for the DVD title. Add text by to click on the text icon and then Creation a text box in your project. model the text as wished (adding shadows, outlines, etc.) use options in the Models menu.

  • Step 4

    Create a new Sleep for each one clickable article your menu have. Add text and graphs to costume your project and aesthetics. For example, the "Play" menu article could be in Arial “BOLD” with a graph triangle pointing to the right---the commun run icon for "Play."

  • Step 5

    Save your work in Photoshop. Note the place of the saved the file--you need it in Encore.

  • Importing the Menu in Encore

  • Step 1

    Open your DVD to write project in Adobe Encore.

  • Step 2

    Choose "Input As Menu" of the "File" navigation at the top of the screen, and chosen the file you just created in Photoshop. Your menu appear in the Monitor window.

  • Step 3

    Select an capital from the Project Fenestrate and dredge it above the adapted menu article on your DVD menu. This assign each one element of your project to its own menu item.
