Delete Page Files in Windows 2000

  • Step 1

    Click the beginning menu and chosen the "Control Panel" option.

  • Step 2

    Select "Performance and Maintenance" and then "System." chosen the "Advanced" tab and under the "Performance" titrate click "Settings."

  • Step 3

    Click the "Advanced" tab and under the "Virtual Memory" arrangement click "Change."

  • Step 4

    In the order drop-down menu, chosen the order that contains your Windows 2000 installation (usually the C: drive).

  • Step 5

    Click the "No Paging File" button then click "Ok." If incited to continue, to choose "Yes." restoring your computer when prompted.
