Step 1

Click "Minimize the Ribbon" in Excel 2007. This skins the top toolbar. You can to bring the bar tool holder back in a permanent way by repetition Steps 1 and 2, or temporarily by to click one of the menu options at the top of the screen, e.g. "Data" or "View". If you are use Excel 2007, stop here. If you are use a precedent version of Excel, click "Add or to remove Buttons," then click "Customize."

Click the "Close" button to to save your changes then removing the wished toolbars. You can to bring toolbars back by right-clicking the opened gray sector at the top of the screen, then to click "Customize."
