Step 1
Add LimeWire to your firewall. To do so, click the Windows "Start" button, click the "Control Panel," and then double click "Security Center."

Select "Windows Firewall" to launching the system firewall. Click the "General" tab and to make sure that the Wall fire resistant is on. Click the "Exceptions" tab. Place a Control on "LimeWire" to to exclude it of the firewall.

Click "OK" to to save the changes and end the firewall. launching LimeWire. You would have now be able to connect.

Add LimeWire to your firewall. To do so, double click "HD" on the desktop machine and double click "Applications." launching "System Preferences" and click the "Security" icon located under "Personal."

Click on "Firewall" and chosen "Set access for specific services and applications." Click the positive (+) sign located on the bottom left corner. to direct to the LimeWire icon, and click "Add" to importation it to the exceptions list.

Select the "Allow entering connections" option. launching LimeWire. You would have now be able to connect.
