Making a Flyer

  • Step 1

    Open Editor and chosen "File," then "New." Click "Blank copy Publication." The page automatically defects to a standard 8 1/2- x 11-inch Insect size.

  • Step 2

    Click the "Insert" menu at the top of the screen, then chosen "Picture" and to choose "From File." to review to where you to have photos or art saved for the Insect and double-click an image so it appears on the workspace. If you don't already to have pictures, chosen "Clip Art."

  • Step 3

    Pull downwards the "Search in" drop-down menu in the "Clip Art" Fenestrate and to make sure all the boxes are checked. Traction down the "Results would have be" drop-down menu and Control the "Clip Art" and "Photographs" boxes. Type words such as "Irish," "leprechaun" and "shamrock" in the "Search for" box and click the "Go" button.

  • Step 4

    Scroll through the results. Double-click a Image to add it to your Insect workspace. Click one time off the Image so it's not highlighted, then double-click others photo until you've additional as much images as you like.

  • Step 5

    Click the "Text" tool, which look at like an index chart with an "A" on it, on the "Tools" pallets on the left side of the page. Use your mouse cursor to dredge a rectangle through the top of the page for your Insect headline. Type your flyer's headline, such as "St. Patty's Day Party" or "Celtic Dance Lessons Offered," then culminating point the titrate with your cursor and Traction down on the Organizes menu on the bar tool holder at the top of the page.

  • Step 6

    Select an ornate, traditional Irish-looking Organizes such as Pristina or Blackadder. With the text always highlighted, right-click and to choose "Change Text" and chosen "Font." Traction down the "Color" menu and chosen "More Colors," then to choose a Kelly green and click the "OK" button. Click the "OK" button still to end the window.

  • Step 7

    Add more text boxes to to include the rest of the information for your flyer, such as contact information. Change the text color to orange, one of the three colors comprised in the flag of Ireland.

Add more text boxes to to include the rest of the information for your ticket, such as pricing, place or event date/time. Use orange as a text color, one of the colors in the flag of Ireland.
