Step 1
Wash chicken and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut boneless skinless chicken breast into strips.
Step 2
Combine buttermilk and barbecue into large zip loc bag. Add chicken and let it marinade in the refrigerator for 4 hours. You can do it early that morning or let it marinade overnight.
Step 3
Remove chicken from bag and lightly season with salt and pepper. (You can also just add the salt and pepper to the flour instead).
Step 4
Flour chicken and drop chicken into batches in cooking oil for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5
Let drain on paper towels and enjoy.

You can also make a dipping sauce called Come Back sauce, hence the name. They will keep coming back for more. Come Back sauce ingredients includes mayonnaise, ketchup,, worstershire sauce, mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, chili sauce and paprika. You can also add something to give it an extra kick like hot sauce, red peppers or chili sauce.
