Step 1
Take a stick of butter and coat the bottom of the pan at low to medium heat and take chicken breasts and season them with season salt and brown to a golden brown on both sides. Then take out of pan until you get the next step done.
Step 2
Then in still warm pan add the stick of butter and melt and then the mushrooms and chopped up green onions and sauté them until the onions turn clear and then put the chicken back in and what i do is put them along the side and put the lid on and let simmer for another 10 minutes or until the chicken is done.
Step 3
Once i know the chicken is done then i add the mozzarella cheese and put the lid on until the cheese melts. The butter in the pan should still be the same color as when you first melt it and when this is done you are ready to serve.
