Step 1
Cut Paneer into desired shape ( square / rectangle / triangle ). In an open pan , heat about 10 gms of butter . When its hot , put the paneer cubes and fry till golden brown . Keep Aside .
Step 2
Soak cashew nuts in hot water for about half an hour . Grind the onion , garlic flakes , ginger and cashew nuts together and make a paste . Keep it aside . Similarly make a paste of tomatoes and coarinder and keep it separately .
Step 3
For dry masalas , grind together fennel seeds , peppercorns , cardamom , chilly powder and turmeric powder .
Step 4
In an open pan , heat butter . Put in cinnamon and bay leaves . Add on the onion paste and fry for about 10 minutes in an low flame .
Step 5
Once the smell of onion evaporates and the gravy is cooked well, add the tomato puree and cook again for about 8-10 minutes . Now add the grounded masalas , garam masala and salt and stir well .
Step 6
Once the butter starts to leave the pan , add the fried paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes . Garnish with coarinder leaves . Your delicios Panner Butter Masala is ready .
